Past Program schedules

The fourth round of the Prototype Fund focused on sustainable digitalization and digital sufficiency.

The application phase ran from January 23 to March 20, 2025. This journey began with an info-event, where applicants learned more about the current call for proposals and connected with potential collaborators.

During the application phase, two concept workshops took place on February 6 and 26, where potential participants could ask questions and receive feedback on their ideas.

Once applications were submitted, they were reviewed by the team based on the selection criteria, and evaluated by a qualified jury. The jury selected projects by mid-May 2025.

The prototyping phase began on June 10, 2025, and ran until January 22, 2026. After the kickoff workshop, where participants set personal prototyping milestones, they diligently worked on achieving them.

Two key milestones were the User Testing Day and the Pre-Demo Day, which took place on September 11 and December 11, respectively.

Along the way Prototype Fund team supported participants during the prototyping phase with bi-weekly check-ins and moderated peer calls, in addition to offering external workshops and individualized coaching and connection with relevant stakeholders.

At the end of the funding period, the prototypes were presented on Demo Day.
