Demo Day 2022 and What’s Next: Public Interest Tech

Last week’s Demo Day concluded the 2nd round of the Prototype Fund. Thank you for being part of it! We had a blast. Watch the project presentations and learn more about how we want to upgrade Switzerland together. Also find out what’s new for the 3rd round of our program starting in April.

What’s Next? Public Interest Tech!

For the 3rd round of our program we’re going to expand the focus: this year we are going to support not only civic tech but public interest tech. By this we mean open source solutions that serve the public good and solve societal problems. Technology by the people for the people!

Topics can still be participation (civic tech) but it could also be sustainability or diversity as well as data literacy or privacy and many more. We want to find the most impactful ideas and promising teams and select the best ones. So tell your friends! However, our method and values remain the same: experimental space, learning and error culture, human-centered, interdisciplinarity and openness.

Apply from 5 April

Our next application window already opens on 5 April! Apply for up to CHF 100,000 and coaching to prototype your public interest tech project from September 2021 to February 2023.
