Program schedule

The fourth round of the Prototype Fund focuses on sustainable digitalization and digital sufficiency. The application phase, lasting two months, runs from January 23 to March 20, 2025, and begins with an info-event, where you can learn more about the current call for proposals and connect with potential collaborators. During the application phase, two concept workshops will take place (February 6 and 26), where you can ask questions and receive feedback on your idea.

Once you submit your application, it will be reviewed by the team based on the selection criteria and evaluated by a qualified jury. The jury will select at least three projects by mid-May.

The prototyping phase begins on June 10, 2025, and runs until January 22, 2026. After the kickoff workshop, you will work on the milestones set during the workshop. Two key milestones are the User Testing Day and the Pre-Demo Day, which will take place on September 11 and December 11, respectively. The Prototype Fund team will support you during the prototyping phase with bi-weekly check-ins and moderated peer calls. You will also receive external workshops and individualized coaching of your choice. Additionally, we will connect you with relevant stakeholders. At the end of the funding period, you will present your prototype on Demo Day. The next application phase will also begin at the same time.

Since we consider the Prototype Fund itself as a prototype, we will continuously adjust and improve the program.
